The Goddess Test by Aimee Carter

Coming April 19, 2011!

Every girl who has taken the test has died.

Now it's Kate's turn.

It's always been just Kate and her mom--and now her mother is dying. Her last wish? To move back to her childhood home. So Kate's going to start at a new school with no friends, no other family and the fear her mother won't live past the fall.

Then she meets Henry. Dark. Tortured. And mesmerizing. He claims to be Hades, god of the Underworld--and if she accepts his bargain, he'll keep her mother alive while Kate tries to pass seven tests.

Kate is sure he's crazy--until she sees him bring a girl back from the dead. Now saving her mother seems crazily possible. If she succeeds, she'll become Henry's future bride, and a goddess.

If she fails...

In my defense, there were a lot of sales this week -- and now I'm going on a book buying ban for a while haha. No one can say I'm not supporting the publishing industry. Paranormalcy was just as cute and hilarious as everyone says, but I'm still mulling over The Goddess Test. I've been dying to read a lot of these for AGES, so I can't wait to get started. I'm going to have a busy spring break!

What's in your mailbox this week?

TOO many books, hehe. I can tell you Paranormalcy was lovely, and I'm sure you'll love reading it as well. I wish there were sales in my local book store, but no. :( Anyway, I heard a lot of good things about the Poison Study series. Enjoy reading!

Take a look at what I found in my Mailbox this week.

Don't you just love book sales? I came across one 2 weeks ago and bought quite a few. This week I didn't get as many, so it all ends up balancing out in the end!

My mailbox can be found here.

Oh my, you went on a serious book buying spree! I hope you didn't buy all of those in one go or else your back must have been killing you holding them.

Happy reading! There's so many books there that I'm sure you'll be set for a very long time.

I hope you do a review of Nomansland, it's on my TBR list but I've passed it up a few times. I just picked Prophecy of the Sisters up at the library yesterday. I really liked the wicked lovely series and loved White Cat. I've never read a Holly Black book or story that I didn't like!

Holy moly you got a ton of great stuff this week! The Goddess Test has been popping up on a lot of IMMs this week, think I'll have to add it to my to-read pile.

And The Knife of Never Letting Go--SUCH a great book, and trilogy! XVI, The Maze Runner, Anna and the French Kiss...you've got a lot of awesomeness there. Enjoy!
